In today's training session, we practiced splitting into 2 teams while cycling. We created 2 groups to make it easier for us to cycle on wider routes. We will continue to practice this in the next few trainings to ensure smooth transition from a single to double lines. This was something new we learnt today. Today, we discovered a problem in while crossing the roads.

Third Training

Date: 13th April 2018, Friday

Time: 16:30 -19:00

Route: Tai Shui Hang - Tai Mei Tuk - Tai Shui Hang

Distance: 38 km

With some practice of the basics, we decided to try something new: we practiced splitting into 2 teams while cycling. We created 2 groups to make it easier for us to cycle on wider routes. We will continue to practice this in the next few trainings to ensure smooth transition from a single to double lines. This was something new we learnt today.

We need to plan better on how to safely and successfully get all the members to cross the road before the signal turns red. Furthermore, before crossing we need to send a signal to the whole team before crossing so everyone can be well informed and can be prepared to cross.

Overall, we still need to practice the crossing of the roads and communicate well while cycling. In this training, we covered a longer distance which is an improvement for us! Hopefully, we can continue to cover longer distances to get a taste of the long journeys we need cover soon.
