Seventeenth Training
Date: 26th June 2018, Tuesday
Time: 10:00 - 15:00
Venue: Yat Tung - Pak Mong
Distance: 30 km
With only less than a week remaining till we depart for Taiwan, we had our last cycling training today. We made sure to practice all that we have learnt in the past few months. It was bittersweet with today being the last training.
We, first, rode up and down a bridge a few times to warm us up and to get prepared for the upcoming hills that we had to ride. Then we rode on the streets and while doing so, we practiced using the whistle again, the hand gestures and safety. We, then, rode to Pak Mong, where we rode uphills and downhills which was quite challenging.
This training was quite tiring as we practiced all that we have done in 3 months, however all the members kept encouraging each other to perform our best and try our hardest to successfully complete this training. We ended the day but a little meeting where we discussed and finalized the itinerary for Taiwan together.
Luckily the weather was right on that day and we were able to make the most of our last training. We will be sure to bring you along with us to Taiwan.
