Time: 10:30 – 15:00

Route: Yat Tung - Pak Mong

How wonderful it is when the weather in on your side while training hard? The sky was blue and clear, the sun was out and shining comparable to the weather of Taiwan.

As usual we started our training session with proper stretching and warm up our muscle for the strenuous training which include a lot of climbs. First, we did 4 sets of 3 climbs on the Ying Hei Road foot bridge opposite of Sea-view Crescent. This practice run honed our timing to down shift our gear before going on incline.

After the foot bridge training climb, Julian, our coach joined us for the rest of training session. He gave a lot of advice concerning safety, communication, leading the pack, conserving energy and staying hydrate.

After that we that continued our training session in Pak Mong. Our team mate took turn being the front and back of pack, and practicing giving signal using whistle. Not only the front and back used whistle, the whole pack also practicing to use when required.

Overall, the training session was motivating as Julian came along, as we received a lot of advice from him. He corrected a lot of mistakes and train together under the same heat.
